FRANKFORT, Ind. (WLFI) – A Frankfort business is gearing up for the ultimate party of the year — the NFL Tailgate Party at this year’s Super Bowl.
Six people with Shoup’s Country Foods started work Saturday in Phoenix as the party’s catering management team. The business has been helping with the party ever since Indianapolis hosted the Super Bowl in 2012.
Co-owner Cindy Shoup Cacy said the group helps setup for the party which is expected to host 10,000 people.
“A lot of our responsibilities are dealing with the health department, dealing with all the restaurants and caterers that will be supplying food here,” said Cacy. “That’s the other cool thing about this party is that everywhere the Super Bowl goes, they try to get great food, local to the area.”
Shoup’s employees get to go to Sunday’s Pro Bowl.
